Christmas is approaching, and the offer of Christmas gifts begins to increase. Parents and family members, in general, are faced with the question of what to give their children and whether these gifts will be really useful for them. On many occasions, excessive consumerism causes children to receive so many gifts that it will be difficult for them to make the most of them or perhaps they do not fit their tastes or needs. MA. Mary Castro, psychologist of our clinic, shares valuable recommendations for choosing the right gifts for the little ones this Christmas.
What is the ideal amount of gifts a child should receive at Christmas?
It is advisable not to give more than 4 gifts because if the child receives more gifts, he/she will not be able to take advantage of them and will not have enough time to explore and play with them.
