Peruvian and Uruguayan specialists met at the event organized by the Nuclear Medicine Service of the Clinica Ricardo Palma, which took place last Wednesday, April 17. The event was full, demonstrating the great interest and active participation of the attending health professionals.
The talk addressed relevant topics on teragnosis and its impact on oncologic management, presented by leading experts in the field. Dr. Shirley Alarcón shared her analysis of the situation of teragnosis in Peru, while Dr. Miguel Ticona offered an updated view of the oncologic management of NETs and prostate cancer.
In addition, the live transmission via YouTube made it possible to broaden the reach of the event, reaching a large audience and facilitating access to information for those health professionals and the public who were unable to attend the event in person.
The program also included presentations on the current approach to radiopharmaceutical therapy in oncologic pathology by Dr. Juan Pablo Gambini, as well as a reflection on the state of the art of radiopharmaceutical production and its promising future, presented by Dr. Eduardo Savio, specialists from the sister country of Uruguay.
