The requirements to contribute to this cause are: being between 18 and 60 years old, in good health, weighing more than 50 kilos and measuring more than 1.50 meters.

In each donation, 450 ml of blood is drawn obtaining red blood cells, plasma, and platelets. Women can donate every month and men every three months. It is not necessary to fast to donate.

People who have had hepatitis A in childhood are eligible to donate. If you have had surgery, you must wait 6 months to donate and if you received any transfusions, you must wait 12 months. Women can also donate while on their period, as long as their bleeding is not abundant.

People who take medications such as antibiotics, insulin, among others, cannot donate. Neither those who have fungi in a wide area of the body or located in several parts.
