These nougats are very special for our little ones at home. They contain nutritious ingredients such as sesame and peanuts, which are very rich in fatty acids and omega 3 and 6, benefiting our cardiovascular health. They also contain fiber, which helps us improve our gastrointestinal tract.
* Remember that this recipe is high in calories so you should consume it moderately.
Ingredients (for 20 servings):
½ cup of honey
2 tbsp brown sugar
100 gr butter without salt or margarine
300 gr oat flakes
50 gr raisins
4 tbsp roasted peanuts
2 tbsp roasted sesame seed
Preparation:
Simmer the honey with the sugar until dissolved. Then, add butter, oat flakes, and raisins. Stir with a wooden spoon, and cook for five minutes. Finally, add peanuts and sesame seeds and mix.
Pour the preparation into a greased baking dish (you can cover it with aluminum foil or butter) until approximately 1.5 cm height (thickness). Bake for ten minutes at 200 degrees Celsius. Let cool and cut into bars.
