On Halloween night you will take your child trick-or-treating, but also you can organize a small party with their schoolmates. Here are some tips for planning fun activities:

• Snacks: Make banana ghosts. Put miniature chocolate chips onto your bananas to make the banana ghosts’ eyes and mouth
• Tangerine pumpkins: Peel the tangerines and put a piece of celery to the top
• Games: They can watch a cartoon movie under your supervision, make mummy wraps with toilet paper and play the freeze dance where everyone has to freeze when the music stops. If someone moves then they’re out of the game

Decoration

• Cover furniture and chains with white sheets
• Decorate the mirrors and pictures of the house with cotton to simulate cobwebs
• Paint EPS plates with an orange color and draw with black marker the pumpkin faces. Then hang it like paper chains
• Create original bats with black cardboard

Do not forget to occasionally lift the sheets so that children see there is nothing underneath and tell them that witches do not exist. “The idea is to have fun, not to be really scared,” warns Psychologist Antonella Galli
