Holding Quironsalud – Grupo Helios, leading hospital group in Europe, established a strategic alliance with Clínica Ricardo Palma at the end of 2016. After this alliance, the modernization process and improvement in the services of the Peruvian Clínica Ricardo Palma began with the idea of directing it towards a quality leap that would make it a benchmark for medical care in the country
For Dr. Mario González, General Manager of Clínica Ricardo Palma, the transformation undertaken by the hospital center aims to improve the patient’s experience starting from their admission to the Clínica Ricardo Palma and throughout their passage through each of the departments. He states: “We want our patients and affiliates to have a satisfactory experience, and this involves excellent treatment and care, an experience that guarantees the safety of each patient and a system through which we can measure the satisfaction level of people who are treated at Clínica Ricardo Palma”. As would be expected, the transformation of Clínica Ricardo Palma has also involved substantial changes in its infrastructure and equipment. Thus, work has been done on the remodeling of its main lobbies, hospitalization areas and admission areas, and the improvement of medical equipment, as well as the fixtures located in the basement of the main building. This is a process that will continue over the next few months
The newness is that the Clínica Ricardo Palma has just opened is its Medical Aesthetic Center, specially created to address the population demand of care that increases insistently. For this, González says that the work done, prior to the opening of the center, guarantees the fulfillment of three key pillars: a first-class human capital, last generation equipment, and quality products and proven clinical safety. We are managing this new service ensuring quality and safety of the treatments given to our patients. To this effect, we also have the added value provided by the support of Clínica Ricardo Palma so if any health problem is detected in a patient in the Aesthetics area, they are referred, diagnosed and treated by our specialists. González states that this reflects a patient’s comprehensive care concept
Finally, the General Manager of Clínica Ricardo Palma is satisfied with the results that show the figures of PlanSalud, which is the insurance offered by Clínica Ricardo Palma and today has more than 34 thousand active members.
