The purpose of the academic event was to promote the updating of specialists and generate greater knowledge of new treatments and surgical procedures.
Clinica Ricardo Palma celebrated its 49th anniversary with the XVII Medical Congress “Three days to be up to date: Medicine of the XXI Century”, aimed at general practitioners, residents and specialists, with the purpose of strengthening the professional development of the attendees. Therefore, it once again demonstrated its firm commitment to ensure that all its patients have access to quality medical care.
The event gathered speakers from Peru, Argentina, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic and Spain, bringing together more than 700 healthcare professionals. During the three days, attendees updated their knowledge in surgery and oncological medicine, internal medicine and surgical specialties. Participants learned new approaches to diseases, shared experiences and encouraged continuing education.
“The purpose of this congress was to promote excellence and medical updating in various specialties. To meet this objective, the program included more than 30 daily presentations by professionals of the highest level from our institution and from other Latin American countries,” said Dr. Francisco Salaverry, president of the Association of Physicians of the Clinica Ricardo Palma, promoter of the scientific activity.
This congress is the first to take place after the pandemic and played a key role for healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and advances in the healthcare field, as well as to reflect on how digital transformation improves the quality of medical care.
Clinica Ricardo Palma is proud to celebrate its anniversary by promoting excellence in medical practice to ensure efficient and quality management. In this regard, it has advanced technology, highly trained professionals and modern specialized service units that guarantee the best results for patients.
