In case your procedure required the administration of gadolinio contrast substance, it is recommended to hydrate as much as possible, with plenty of fluids (unless some pathology contraindicates it). You will be able to resume your normal life after the contrast injection.

The contrast is quickly flush out.

In some cases there are delayed adverse reactions after 30 minutes of contrast administration, such as:

• Nausea.
• Vomiting.
• Hives.
• Itching.
• Diaphoresis (heavy sweating).

If this happens, you must immediately contact the Radiology Service, otherwise go to the Emergency Service, and inform them that you have undergone a study with contrast substance.
