Tips

• Teach them to share. Set up games where they can share their things with a friend or sibling. They will understand that part of the fun is giving up.
• Give priority to cooperation rather than competition. Show them that teamwork gives better results
• Put themselves in their peers’ shoes. In case they laugh because a friend fell, ask them how they would feel if they were the one who fell over. Reflecting will make them more supportive
• Point out that giving thanks, saying “please” and greeting back are actions that promote collaboration
